Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website at lenostra.store and any purchase you make through it (together, the "Services").

The Services are operated by Lenostra, which also trades as NOSTRA ("Lenostra", "NOSTRA", "we", "us"). Both names refer to the same business, and either may appear on your order confirmation, on your payment card statement, or on the parcel you receive.

By using the Services or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. Who may use the Services

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, and able to enter into a binding contract. By placing an order you confirm that you are.

2. Products

Each product we sell has its own product page. Product photography is intended to represent the item accurately, but colour varies between screens, and some imagery is illustrative of a product in use rather than a literal photograph of the unit you will receive. Specifications and dimensions are the manufacturer's figures. Where a product states a quantity per pack, that quantity is what ships.

We may change, limit or discontinue any product at any time.

3. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in the currency of the market you are shopping in: US dollars (USD) in the United States, Canada, Australia and the rest of the world, and pounds sterling (GBP) in the United Kingdom. Each market has its own price list, so the same product can carry a different figure from one market to another; the price you see on the product page is the price charged at checkout for that market. All prices exclude any duties or import taxes that may apply — see our Shipping Policy.

Prices may change at any time, but the price that applies to your order is the price displayed when you place it. Where a struck-through "compare at" price is shown, it is a price this store has previously charged for that item.

We may correct pricing or description errors and cancel any order placed at an incorrect price, including after confirmation. If we cancel for this reason we refund you in full.

Payment is taken at checkout through Shopify's payment providers. We do not store your card details.

4. Orders

Your order is an offer to buy. A confirmation email acknowledges receipt of that offer; it is not acceptance. The contract is formed when we dispatch your order.

We may refuse or cancel an order at our discretion — for example where we suspect fraud, where a product is unavailable, where an order appears to be for resale, or where a delivery address cannot be served. If we cancel a paid order, we refund it in full.

5. Discounts and promotional codes

Discount codes and automatic discounts are subject to their own terms and end dates, may be withdrawn at any time before an order is placed, apply only to eligible products, and cannot be applied retroactively to a completed order. Where a promotion shows an end date, that date is real and the offer ends on it.

6. Delivery and risk

Fulfilment, shipping times, tracking and customs are covered in our Shipping Policy. Orders are dispatched by our fulfilment partners from warehouses in the United States and China, depending on the product and on what is in stock when you order. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.

7. Returns and refunds

Returns and refunds are covered in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Nothing in these Terms limits any statutory right you have as a consumer.

Returns must be arranged with us by email or by phone before anything is sent back. We do not charge restocking fees. We cannot accept or refund a parcel returned to an address you found elsewhere.

8. Payment disputes

If something has gone wrong with an order, contact us first — by email or on the phone number below. Almost every problem — a late parcel, a damaged item, the wrong product, or a charge you do not recognise — is one we can resolve directly, and faster than a bank can.

A charge you do not recognise may simply be the other of our two names; see the top of these Terms. Where a dispute is raised with a bank or card issuer without contacting us first, we may respond to it with our order, dispatch and delivery records. This does not affect any right you have to dispute a charge, and it does not replace your statutory rights or our Refund Policy.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Services to break any law; to buy for resale without our written agreement; to interfere with or probe the site's security; to scrape, copy or republish our content or photography; to submit false information; or to abuse our staff. We may suspend access to anyone who does.

10. Our content

The site, its text, photography, product imagery, layout and the Lenostra and NOSTRA names and marks are owned by us or licensed to us, and may not be copied, reproduced or used commercially without our written permission.

11. Anything you send us

If you send us a photograph, review or other content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use it in connection with the Services, and you confirm it is yours to give and is truthful. We may remove any submission at our discretion.

12. Third-party links and services

The Services rely on third parties including Shopify, payment processors, fulfilment partners and shipping carriers, and may link to sites we do not control. We are not responsible for the content, policies or acts of those third parties.

13. Disclaimers

The Services are provided "as is". We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Our products are consumer goods. Nothing on this site is medical, health or professional advice. Product descriptions describe what an item is and does; they are not a promise of a particular outcome for any individual. Follow the instructions supplied with the product, and if you have a medical condition or a known sensitivity, speak to a qualified professional before use.

14. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to your use of the Services or any product is limited to the amount you paid for the order giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for loss of profit or data.

Nothing here excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded — and if you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.

15. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims and costs arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Services.

16. Events outside our control

We are not liable for delay or failure to perform caused by something beyond our reasonable control — including carrier disruption, customs delay, extreme weather, industrial action, or the failure of a supplier or payment provider. Where such an event delays your order we will tell you, and where it prevents the order entirely we will refund you in full.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The version in force is the one published here at the time you place your order, and the "last updated" date above tells you when it changed.

18. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, and the courts of Quebec have jurisdiction — without affecting any right you have as a consumer to bring proceedings where you live.

19. Severability, assignment and entire agreement

If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest continues in force. We may assign or transfer these Terms as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of our business; you may not assign yours without our written agreement. These Terms, together with the Refund, Shipping and Privacy policies, are the entire agreement between us.
